Dessert Sauces

Chocolate and Ginger Sauce

 

Delicious served over your favourite ice cream or sponge cake.

Ingredients:

150ml milk

2 tbsp cream

55g plain chocolate

30g butter

1 tbsp golden syrup

1 tbsp freshly grated ginger

Preparation:

  

  1. In saucepan, bring milk to boil and add cream. Keep warm.
  2. In heat proof bowl, mix together chocolate and butter. Add grated ginger, golden syrup, and hot milk mixture. Stir until melted and blended well.
  3. Sieve sauce and keep warm until ready to serve.
